If you have months or years worth of production data, you can import it to your iWell account by uploading a CSV file.
1. On the iWell homepage, go to Manage, and select Settings.
2. On the left-hand column, click on Import Data.
3. Make sure your CSV file is formatted correctly. Click on "view template here" to double check.
No column headers are needed - you will add those during the upload process.
Important: all well names need to be exactly as they are on iWell.
4. Once you have your file ready, click on the Choose File to upload the file.
If there are any errors with the structure of your file, you will get an error message.
5. If the file is structured correctly, click on the Continue button.
6. For each column, click on the drop-down menu to select the header.
7. Once all of the headers have been selected, you can click on Import.
You will see a progress bar that shows how long is left to complete the import.
If you have multiple wells you can add them to a single CSV file and upload it to iWell. The platform will sort out and distribute your production to its respective well.
