The Texas Railroad Commission requires that you submit a monthly Production Report (PR) for all your oil leases and gas wells. Below are steps to help you set up your iWell account in order to generate and submit this report to the Texas RRC.

Account set-up

1.  Make sure the Texas RRC PR Report is turned on in your account. Contact iWell support to help you turn on this report if it is not.

2.  Correctly set up your oil leases and gas wells. Learn more about creating a Lease here.

For all oil leases you should go to:

3. Hover over the Manage tab, then select Wells

4. Click the Leases sub tab.

Once inside the leases section make sure your leases are set to Texas and that you have checked the box to include the lease in your RRC PR Report.

Once you have indicated to include the lease on your RRC PR Report you will need to enter additional information indicating operator number, district, Texas RRC Lease number, etc.

5. To set up your gas wells you will need to set up the well correctly in the wells section. Make sure to indicate that the well is a Texas well and that it is gas.

You will then be prompted to indicate if you would like to include the gas well as part of your Texas RRC PR Report. Check the box indicating to include the well as part of the RRC PR Report.

You will then be prompted to enter additional information to finish the set up of your gas well.

6. Please make sure this information is accurate to insure that the EDI file is generated correctly for the Texas RRC. Inputting erroneous data will cause errors in your report. Click Save when you're done.
