Getting Started: iWell Reports for iPhone

Before starting to use the iWell Reports iPhone application, we will cover a few basic concepts and functionalities of the application

Before starting to use the iWell Reports iPhone application, we will cover a few basic concepts and functionalities of the application. 

This article will cover the following topics:

  • Home Screen

  • Well Groups 

  • Additional Information

  • Settings

Home Screen

When logging in to iWell Reports on your iPhone, you will see the home screen. 

Well Groups

In your sidebar, you will see the Groups of Wells associated to your account. You will also see two columns; Daily Production and Average Production. 

  • The Daily Production column refers to the last day of reported Oil production for your Group of Wells

  • The Average Production, is an average of a week’s worth of Oil production

In the lower left side of the application, you will notice three icons, the Settings, Switch Accounts and Support icons. 

Settings

By tapping the Gear icon (Settings), you will see:

  • Remember Me. By turning this option On, you will remain logged in to your account until you manually logout of the app. 

  • Reset Database. By tapping the Reset button, you will delete the stored data in your device. Do not use this option unless asked to by an iWell representative. 

Information

By tapping the Information icon, you will see:

  • Contact information. If you have questions regarding your account or need any assistance, tap on support@iwell.info to send an email to our support team.

Main Production Screen

Once you’ve selected a Well Group, you will see the Summary tab. In this view you can see:

  • Summary. A summary of your Wells total production (oil, gas and water).

  • Oil. Detailed oil production data

  • Gas. Detailed gas production data

  • Water. Detailed water production data

  • Comments. Comments made by pumpers. 

In the Summary tab you will see:

  • Daily Production Summary. Displays the daily production for Oil, Gas and Water. 

  • Last Update. Located in the upper right side of your screen.

  • Production Graph. This is a visual representation of your production over time. You can pinch and zoom in to a specific set of day(s) if needed.

Detail Tabs ( Oil, Gas and Water)

The Oil, Gas and Water Tabs shows the reported Production as well as other valuable information for analysis.

All tabs contain the following details:

  • Daily Production Summary. Located in the upper left side of your screen.

  • Last Update. Located in the upper right side of your screen.

  • Production statistics. Shows the BBLS production for all Wells associated to the selected Group. 

  • Average Production. Shows the AVG. Weekly Oil production for all Wells associated to the selected Group. You will need to swipe the left on the Production box to view Average Production.

  • Goals. It’s an actual vs. projected comparison in a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You will need to swipe the left on the  AVG Production box to view Goals.

  • Graphs. Below the production statistics, you can see a production graph for your Well Group. You can see the spread of production for every 7, 30, 180 or 365 days. 

  • If you need to refresh the graph, tap on the Refresh icon (circular arrow), located in the upper right side of your production graph.

  • You can also pinch and zoom in on a specific set of days if needed.

Viewing Individual Well Production

To view individual Well data, first you need to add the Well to your Home Screen. Tap on the Manage icon, located in lower left side of the home screen. 

  • Tap the + icon, located in the upper left side of the Manage screen

  • Select Wells

  • Select the Well you wish to add to the list 

  • Tap Done when you’re finished

You will see that the Well is now part of your Home Screen.

  • Daily Production Summary. Located in the upper left side of your screen.

  • Last Update. Located in the upper right side of your screen.

  • Production statistics. Shows the BBLS / MCF production for the Well 

  • Production graph. This is a visual representation of your production over time. You can pinch and zoom in to a specific set of day(s) if needed.

  • Miscellaneous fields. You can see additional readings (e.g. compressor readings, gauge readings) in this field.  

You can also see a visual representation of your miscellaneous fields. Just tap on the desired field and a graph will display on your device.

Viewing Comments

To view comments entered by Pumpers, tap on the message bubble, located in upper right side of your screen. 

You will see every note entered for that Well / Well Group. If you need to enter a note, tap on the pencil icon, in the upper right side of the notes screen.
