Using the iWell Pumper iPhone application, you can enter your production data, and miscellaneous readings (e.g. casing psi and other custom fields), and add run tickets and notes to your assigned Wells.

In this article we will cover the following topics:

  • Production and Last 30 days

  • Well Summary

  • Tank Readings

  • Shared Tanks

  • Run Tickets

  • Additional readings

  • Comments

  • Editing past production

  1. Open your iWell Pumper app and select the Well you want to report on. To start entering production data, tap Report on your selected Well.

NOTE. There is a color indication for Reported and Synced information. It indicates whether you’ve reported information and stored it in your device.

Production and Last 30 Days Tabs

2. Once you’ve selected the Well you want to work on, you will see two tabs on top, Production and Last 30 days.

The Production tab is where you will enter all of your Well’s tank readings and/or any other custom field that’s required for that specific Well.

The Last 30 Days tab, shows you the Oil, Water, and Gas production for that Well in the last 30 days. It also shows any custom data entered.

Well Summary

3. On the Production tab, the first section you will work on is Well Summary. You can see:

  • Two colored indicators, which mean whether or not you’ve reported data and sent it to the iWell servers.

  • The Well Operating Status. If the Well is not operating, turn off the Well Operating Status option. If the Well has been operating for a certain number of hours, you can report the hours using the Hours On the field.

Tank Readings

4. The next section we’re going to work on, is Tank Readings. You’ll notice that tanks associated with the Well are listed in this section. You will see:

  • Tank name

  • Capacity

  • Type (Oil, Water, or both)

  • Multiplier

  • Last reported reading

When you’re ready, enter the Current Reading for all your tanks. Keep in mind the following:

  • The first time you use iWell Pumper, you will need to also enter the Last Reading. The last reading should be the readings from the last time you gauged the tank.

  • Only whole numbers and decimals may be entered into each box. Fractions are not allowed (e.g. use 0.25 instead of ¼).

NOTE. If you do not see a tank and/or meter reading box at the top of your Well report screen, and you believe this is an error, please contact your iWell Account Administrator or iWell Support at support@iwell.info.

Shared Tanks

If you’re sharing tanks between Wells, you will see the Shared Tank / See Wells button, next to your tank name. If you need to validate the allocation settings between Wells, tap on the button. The app will display the Wells using the tank as well as the current allocation settings. When you’re done, tap Close.

Run Tickets

5. If you have run tickets to add to a tank tap the Add button inside the run ticket box that is next to the tank. You can only enter one run ticket per tank per day. To learn more about run tickets, see Submitting Run Tickets.

Additional Readings

6. The next section(s) you will see are Meter Readings, Total Production, Injection and Disposal, and Gauge Readings. If you do not see a Custom Field or Reading and you think this is an error, contact your account Administrator or iWell Support.

Injection and Disposal data can be captured in iWell Pumper. The fields are located right below the Total Production section of your gauge report.

Comments

7. You can enter additional notes/comments to your Well if needed. When done, tap Save & Close.

8. After you’ve entered the production data, you will notice that the "Not Reported" status has changed to "Reported with" a green color indication. This means you’ve successfully stored the production data in your device.

When you are ready to send the data to the servers, tap the "Sync button", on the upper left side of your screen. You can sync as many times as needed.

Editing Past Production

9. To edit data from previous days:

  • Select the Well you want to report on.

  • On the top of the screen, you will notice the date, with an arrow pointing down. Tap the arrow.

  • Choose the date you wish to edit/update and tap Select.

d. This will display the report for the given day on your device and will make it available for edits.

NOTE. Editing past production data is only available for specific users. If you need to edit past production data, contact your Account Administrator or iWell Support.

11. When you’re done entering your production and custom data, tap Save & Close.
