In addition to tracking oil, gas and water production, iWell lets you track custom metrics for your Wells, for example tubing pressure, casing PSI, etc. To create and manage Custom Fields in your account, you must be the account principal. This will allow you to, remove, update and rearrange Custom Fields and Custom Field Groups.

Adding Custom Fields
Account principals can add new Wells (Oil, Gas or Water), group them, import production data, setup tanks, meters, configure allocations and create Errors and Warnings.
To add a Custom Field:
1. Hover over the Manage tab, then select Settings
2. To create a new custom field, click the + New Custom Field button, in the upper left hand of the the screen
2.1 Fill the required information, Field Name, Field Name for pumpers (same as field name), Field type (single text, date, integer, decimal, currency, percentage, paragraph) and Unit.
You can predetermined options that the pumper can choose from a drop down menu when working on the new custom field.
If this is a required* field, click the checkbox. Click Create when you’re done.

3. iWell lets you group your custom fields into sections, making it easier for pumpers to track while on the field.
Click + New Custom Field Group
Enter the Name of the Group and the Name for pumpers. When done, click Save.
To add a custom field to a group simply, click on the three lines on the right of the custom field, and drag the field to the group section.

4. To edit an existing custom field, click on the icon pencil. You can edit the Field Name, Field Name for pumpers and the field type. Click Save when done.
You can also modify the Wells assigned to the custom field by clicking on the Well Access tab
You can also modify the list of users that will have access to edit or view the custom field data.
4.1 The platform also lets you rearrange the created custom fields. Click on the three lines to the right of the custom field and rearrange the field in the desired place.
4.2 If you want to delete a custom field. Click on the trash bin icon to remove the field. This action cannot be undone.

5. To edit an existing custom field group, click on the icon pencil. You can edit the Group name and name for pumpers.

6. To make a custom field available in the pumper app, you need to drag the field from the left side column (Available Custom Fields), to the right side column (Visible in the App)
