Setting Up Account Roles
When setting up a new user, you will be asked to assign a specific role for that person. You can create as many users as necessary - whether they are for investors, pumpers, analysts or managers, it is important that you understand the differences between roles.
Administrator. This role has access to all company wells and well groups inside both the web and mobile apps, including all custom fields. Admins can manage all aspects in iWell for their company using the portal, including wells, users and custom data.
Supervisor. This role has limited access to wells, well groups and custom fields inside both the web and mobile apps. Supervisors also have limited access to the portal and can manage only the wells and users that admins allow them to access.
User. This role has limited access to wells, well groups and custom fields inside both the web and mobile apps. Regular users don’t have access to the management portal, but only the web version of iWell Reports.
Account Privileges
Account privileges are the ability to edit certain information within your iWell account. There are three fields that can be managed:
Edit Historical Pumper Reports. Gives the user the ability to edit historical production reports for the Well(s) or Well Group(s) he/she was given access to
Edit Previous Tank Readings. User can edit production data from previous days. Admins can give access to a single day, a full week or month
Edit all RRC Reports. User has editing privileges on RRC fields and reports
App Access.
As you know, iWell has two core applications; iWell Pumper and iWell Reports. You can provide access to one or both applications to a user no matter what his account role. There are two settings you can manage when creating or updating existing users:
Enabling iWell. Users with iWell (Reports and Monitoring) enabled can use the iWell web and mobile apps to see well production graphics, stats and other well data, according to their permissions.
Enabling iWell Pumper. Users with iWell Pumper app enabled can use the mobile app to capture well production and custom data, according to their permissions.
