How-to: Add New Users in iWell

Learn how to add a new user in your iWell Account

You can add new users and roles manually in the iWell app. You must be an account administrator to add, remove or update user information.

Adding new users

Account administrators can add new users, group them and grant access to wells, well groups and custom fields.

To add a user:

  1. Hover over the Manage tab, then select Users

2. Click the + New User button, on the upper right hand of the screen

3. Enter the user's Name, Email and select the Account Role. Click Save & Continue

In the user's role (see account role and permissions) select from user, supervisor or admin. You can also select which app the user will have enabled as well as which custom permissions (see account privileges) can be given.ย 

4. Choose which Well(s) or Well Group(s) the user can view. If you've created a User Group, say for Pumpers, you can add the new user to that group. Click Save & Continue.

5. Next step is to grant user access to Custom Fields (e.g. casing psi, choke size, etc.) or RRC PR Monthly Report Fields if applicable. When you're done, click Save & Continue.

6. Finally, you can turn on Weekly Production Snapshots for that user. The email includes a summary of Oil, Gas and Water Productions of the assigned Well(s).
