It’s finally here! And we want to thank you for your support and for always leading the way to improvement. And since we want to make your workload easier and more efficient, here’s our New Autofill Rules feature. Let's get started!
Setting up your first Autofill Rule
Account Administrators can create new Autofill Rules (Oil, Gas, and Water) to their accounts.
Creating a New Autofill Rule;
Hover over the Manage Tab, then select Settings.
Next on your left side Menu select the Autofill Rules.
Once there you have four options (Production/Totals, Tanks, Meters, and Custom Fields). The process will be the same for all four, the only difference will be what is being auto-filled.
Production/Totals
On the next screen, you can start applying this rule by selecting the "+ Add Rule" .
4.1. Autofill time, means you will get that information updated at the time you have selected.
4.2. Next you can search the Well/Wells, Group, or leases you want to work on.
4.3. Select the options of your preference and Save.
4.4. Once you have completed the all steps on your "Autofill Rules" you will be redirected to the main view where you will be able to see the rules you have applied.
Note: Autofill rules allow you to fill production, tank, meter, and custom fields automatically when a pumper or remote monitor is not present. When an autofill rule is established for production (oil, gas, water) or tank, meter, or custom field readings the iWell system will automatically record the specified field(s) value for that day with the last previous recorded value. For example, if you turned on an autofill rule for water production on well X for 7:00 pm, if no value has been entered for the daily water production for well X by 7:00 pm that day, then the iWell system will take the previous recorded reading and record that for today’s water production number for well X.

5. The Tanks tab gives you the option to select whether you want to select Oil Tanks, Water, or Water/Oil tanks.
Meters
Custom FieldsOnce you have selected the well/wells, group, or lease you can now save this Autofill Rule as the final step.
