It’s finally here! And we want to thank you for your support and for always leading the way to improvement. And since we want to make your workload easier and more efficient, here’s our new well test feature.
Setting up a Well Test for the first time.
To enable Well Test entries in your pumper view, you must first enter a starting allocation for your tanks. You can see how here.
1. Go to your dashboard >> go to the pumper mode next to it.
2. Select the well you want to work on, then click report.
3. Once you have selected the well of your choice it will redirect you to the main view of the well, here you will see the New feature +New Well Test on this screen.
4. Here you will get the option to create a “New Well Test” for this well and all wells allocated to it.
5. The following window will show all the required data for the “New Well Test” to start pulling the data based on your requirements. This means you will be able to set the days you want to track this information or even just hours.
5.1. Here you have the option of selecting 3 types of products to track (Oil, Gas or Water), once you have selected the option that best fits your needs, you can now move on and start capturing the related wells on Step 2.
Note: For a well test to be complete all wells that share a tank or meter must have a completed well test (the tests can be from various dates). Make sure all wells below have a well test filled out with the most current well test results.
7. Once all wells have been added to the well test allocated in Step 2 on this well you will be able to pull the suggested allocation percentage once the total duration has been completed. (you won't be able to view the allocations unless all wells have been allocated correctly).
Note: Enter the time duration of the well test and the amount produced during this time. For timeless than an hour use a decimal (0.25 for every 15 minutes). For Related Wells (wells that share a tank or meter) you may also update well test information or use the last well test for that well that is pre-filled. All Related Wells must have well test information entered in order to calculate production allocations.
8. To finalize on Step 3 make sure all the information is correct, save and then click on “Review and Submit New Allocation” to get the suggested allocation percentage.
9. Final Step Should look like this, with the suggested percentage, this can be modified if you wish to do so, this suggestion is based on the input data.
