Setting Meter Allocations
Account Administrators can update or add new meters (Oil, Gas, and Water) to their accounts.
To update existing Meters:
1. Hover over the Manage tab, then select Wells
2. To edit or add a Meter inside a well, click the Well name or on the edit button on the right of the screen
3. On the side menu to the left, click on Tanks/Meters and Allocations, which is where you can edit the meters associated with the Well.
4. To add/edit a meter allocation setting and/or information, click on the tank name or on the gear icon, on the right side
On the next screen, you can see how many Wells are sharing production with a meter. If you need to update the allocation settings, click on the date you want to edit. Keep in mind that if you update the date, the meter production (oil, water or gas) records in the period of the allocations that are being modified will be recalculated to match the new allocation settings of the meter.
5. To divide production in a meter, amongst Wells, click + Meter Configuration
Next, select the Well(s) you want to share production by clicking Add Well. Remember that the total allocated percentage must be 100%. When done, click Save.
After you’ve completed all the updates on the meters, click Save.
